COVID-19 Statement*
For the vast majority of the expeditions we’ll be outdoors, hiking and kayaking, participants will be well distanced from one another. During some group activities where participants are in closer proximity to one another, or indoor group activities, participants may be asked to wear masks unless fully vaccinated.
Within 2 days of expedition start date, we require participants to test “negative” for COVID unless fully vaccinated.
Hand sanitizer will be provided and liberal use encouraged.
Tents and cabins will be either single-use or shared.
If you are unsure if the trip will work for your COVID needs, please contact us prior to registration.
Please bear in mind, there is no such thing as perfect safety. Each of us must make our own decisions about risk tolerance. Because the genuine dangers of this disease should not be minimized, we encourage people in high-risk groups (due to age, underlying medical conditions, a compromised immune system, who are caregivers to high-risk individuals) to deeply reflect on the wisdom of doing retreat right now.
*Due to the ever-changing nature of CDC recommendations, some of the restrictions can be lifted depending on comfort level and group consent.
