Healing with Emotions

Navigating the wilderness of the heart

In this day-long retreat, participants will practice relating to everyday emotions in a wise and kind way with gentleness and curiosity. What people often find is by allowing emotions to flow like a river, with kind awareness, emotions that feel burdensome can feel more spacious allowing for inner freedom and wise action.

Participants will experiment with exploring emotions through several mindfulness-based practices and experiments. The tools learned can be a part of a beautiful foundation to coming home to the present moment, cultivating authenticity, seeding moments of inner freedom, developing compassion, understanding the roots of suffering, and cultivating embodied awakening.

Weather permitting, we’ll do these practices in nature with the support of mamma earth. The retreat will be a weaving of education and practices that may support folks in integrating what they learn into their lives.
